STERLING MARATHON LANYARDS
Lanyards are a safe, easy to use and often necessary
piece of equipment for work positioning and travel
restraint system. These connecting devices are
designed to easily connect from the user to an
anchor point. Designed to allow user the flexibility
and maximum protection and confidence to move at
height. Sterling’s Marathon lanyard is a work positioning
lanyard made with Sterling’s super durable,
abrasion resistant, supple 10.7mm Marathon Ultra
dynamic rope. The dynamic properties of the Ultra
provide energy absorbing performance in the case
of a fall.
We offer two models - Marathon Lanyard SE and
Marathon Lanyard DL. Each style features strong
sewn end terminations with rubber shrink tubing to
provide protection against abrasion and plastic
protectors keeps carabineers properly positioned.

SEWN AND TERMINATED ENDS
Sterling offers two styles of customized terminated
ends – sewn eyes and swaged ends on a wide range
of products. These options offer easy, quick, and
secure methods to anchoring. Sterling offers sewn
eye terminations on SuperStatic, and HTP Static in
9mm, 3⁄8", 7⁄16", and 1⁄2"and swaged compression
sleeves on 3⁄8" and 1⁄2" static rope. Sewn eyes are
also offered on our heat resistant RIT products and
5mm-8mm accessory cord. Testing has shown that
swaged ends are superior to knots. Factory installed
with thimble aluminum sleeves provides up to 92%
of the ropes original tensile strength. Available in
custom cut lengths.
